CRE.THI.DEV. Creative Thinking Development About Creative Thinking Development - CRETHIDEV seeks to: create a knowledge database and improve networking and cooperation among local, regional, national, European authorities, organizations, business associations promote innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainable development and exchange of knowledge and expertise, through research and European projects and cooperation with universities, companies, public authorities, training centers. Special attention is paid to consolidating the skills of the young, especially those of higher education, to the demands of the labor market and motivating them to seek employment in their own region in order to promote local quality of life. Objectives and Strengths Our main objective is to improve networking and cooperation among local, regional, national and European authorities, universities, research centres, organizations, business associations and enterprises, in order to promote and disseminate innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainable development and exchange of knowledge. CRE.THI.DEV. Creative Thinking Development   Current Projects TECLO – Erasmus+ - Knowledge Alliance Textile and Clothing Knowledge Alliance (TECLO) is a two years Knowledge Alliance, co-founded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ programme.  The project aim is to modernise EU’s higher education systems in the field of textiles and clothing (T&C) through: A better anticipation of skill needs, based on the development of sustainable partnerships between education and employment. A Massive Online Learning Course (MOOC), developed in 8 different EU languages, educating the future T&C Managers for export, marketing, innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship oriented companies.          LAWPRET - ΕRASMUS+ – Cooperation and Innovation for Good Practices Local Authorities Waste Prevention Training (LAWPreT) is a project which seeks to provide the necessary vocational training to employees in local authorities for waste prevention, through the combination of short-term physical mobility with virtual mobility. This will be achieved by a strong partnership between seven partners that complement each other with their background, experience and expertise, in related EU and nationally funded projects. E-women - Innovation and Employability for Women - EEA Grants The aim of the project research will be to define the current state of the art regarding the involvement and awareness of women and especially young ones in ICT technologies and the benefits arising from their use in terms of employment. CRE.THI.DEV. Creative Thinking Development   Current Projects Promotion of Innovation Culture in the Higher Education in Jordan (INVENT) - Erasmus+ - Capacity Building This project concentrates on strengthening and enhancing the role of higher education institutes and universities in innovation capacity building, technology transfer and commercialization of applied scientific research outcome in Jordan. Knowledge4Foot (K4F) - Erasmus+ - Strategic Partnesrhip K4F project aims to contribute the excellence in tertiary level of training and education for product design and development engineering and management by linking the three areas of education, research and business oriented innovation in order to demonstrate good practices of cooperation and to bridge the worlds of education and work. To achieve this aim the project has the following objectives: a) to set up a new knowledge platform for transferring research and innovation for leather and footwear, b) to develop active collaboration among education, business community and research, c) to design, test and implement a common curriculum and related e-learning content, which incorporate creative thinking problem solving approach and project-based learning by placement internships into virtual environment. . CRE.THI.DEV. Creative Thinking Development   Current Projects Fostering Academia-Industry Collaboration in Food Safety and Quality (FOODQA) The creation of an interface Center between the industry and academia is intended to support the HEI and structure the interfaces between Academia and Industry making available to the food sector technical and scientific services that can contribute to the development of the industry and to strength its competitiveness in the direction of a future collaboration with the European Union in particularly in the area of food safety and quality. The Center will be developed in order to be able to provide the following type of services in the area of food safety and food safety and quality management systems: Training and training contents to support in-room training in the companies; Technical and scientific information (including legislation); Technical services in the implementation of food safety and quality management systems according to international standards. Fair Play and Happiness through Sports (FAIRHAP) - Erasmus+ -  Collaborative Partnerships FAIRHAP project seeks to provide the necessary awareness to children about basic human values through sports training. Sports contribute to the improvement of health, to psychological balance, cultivation of ethics and social values. The objective is to instill and teach children, at an age that is most vital to the development of character and personality, all the universal values that are concentrated in the Olympic ideals, through participation in sports activities, using a specially formulated educational material. Creative Thinking Development   Current Projects Creative Clothing for the Mediterranean space – Creative Wear – MED project CreativeWear revitalizes the crisis-ridden Textile & Clothing (T&C) sector through a new attention to creativity, personalised design, and artisan and small-scale production for territorially specific value chains in customer-driven business models. It aims both to recover and valorise the design heritage and tacit “making” knowledge of T&C in Mediterranean cultures and to bring new energy to creative T&C clusters by reinforcing their creativity-based innovation capacity and integrating their activity into emergent transnational value chains.
