DAAD supports Research Stays in Germany 2 months — 3years Research Stay for two months within a TRF-DAAD supported project (PPP) “One Year Grant” for 7—10 months Doctoral Programmes in Germany Bi-nationally Supervised Doctoral Degrees “Sandwich”

1. Research Stay for two months within a TRF-DAAD supported project (PPP) Project-based Personal-mobility Programme Joint selection of projects with Thai Research Fund and DAAD Thai applicant must be a TRF supported professor Mobility to guest institution for established researchers and young researchers from their team

2. “One Year Grant” for 7—10 months Research at a German university or research institute Essential part of a scientifically challenging doctoral project

3. Doctoral Programmes in Germany Research at a German university or research institute Under supervision of a German professor Scientifically challenging doctoral project Application of established methods to a ground- breaking field OR development of new methods

4. Bi-nationally Supervised Doctoral Degrees “Sandwich” Under supervision of a Thai professor AND a German professor Enrollment at Thai university Research stay(s) in Germany max. 2 years Graduation at Thai university

Small print Qualified for a PhD i.e. usually Master’s degree At the time of application … Master’s degree max. 6 years old Not more than three years into the PhD project Not more than 15 months residency in Germany Language proficiency: IELTS 5.0
