ASSESSMENT PREPARATION Preparing for your tests & exams

Long Before the Assessment 1. Connect your course outline, coursework and the exam Make notes Process your notes Get clarification from the lecturer/tutor

Long Before the Assessment 2. Set revision goals Choose topics needing extra work Set time frames for study (when and what?) Study cards Mind mapping

3. Practice sitting exams (get some feedback) Go through past exam papers & get feedback on your answers Time yourself while doing past exam papers Find out where and when the exam is held Find out the day/date/time of exam Find out room/building of exam Do a travel time/plan
