SECTION 4.7 NIV
MAIN IDEA God’s undeserved gift of grace is freely given to everyone who trusts Jesus as Savior. God continues to bless us with grace throughout our lives as the Holy Spirit teaches us how to be more like Jesus, how to obey, forgive, help and tell others the good news about God’s grace. NIV
MEMORY VERSES ROMANS 5:1-2 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. NIV
MEMORY VERSES GALATIANS 3:2-3 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observ-ing the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After begin-ning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? NIV
MEMORY VERSES TITUS 3:1 Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do what-ever is good. NIV
MEMORY VERSES EPHESIANS 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. NIV
MEMORY VERSES 1 TIMOTHY 1:13-14 Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. NIV
MEMORY VERSES GALATIANS 6:9-10 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. NIV
