There is the most oil reserves in the middle east of the world (Iraq, Egypt…). But we couldn’t find oil in Asia Pacific (Australia, India, Indonesia…). Europe is the second continent of oil reserves. http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/gene/peakoil/map_proved_oil_566 x363.gif Where can you find oil ?

The consequences of this kind of accidents are oil spill. Origins of oil spill 2/3 of the pollution caused by oil comes from industries (53%) and natural sources (9%). 1/3 comes from sea transports: pourings and accidents of boats (32%). There is lots of accidents and explosions like last year in the gulf of Mexico (22th april 2010). The consequences of this kind of accidents are oil spill.

There are two impacts of oil spills, one on the living in the sea and one on the animals like birds which find food in the water.
