Importance of cooperation with ILO 25/05/2018 Importance of cooperation with ILO Tripartism and social dialogue multi-actor approached (role for trade unions, employers and government) Promoting and implementing the decent work agenda Defending workers’ rights rights based approached (strong focus on decent working condition for women and youth, in line with Flemish priorities) Positive input from ACTRAV, ACTEMP and ILO Training Centre in Turin Cooperation with the regional ILO offices

25/05/2018 Project examples Strengthening and capacity building of the social partners in the countries of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Training project to strengthen social dialogue in Ukraine Promotion of decent work and social dialogue in the South African port of Durban, in cooperation with APEC and the Flemish Port Commission. This was a joint Flemish-Dutch project that also organized many technical trainings with focus on the social dialogue. Trade and investment agreements and social clauses results will be presented 6/12/2016
