Where is Asia? Asia is to the east of Europe and to the north of Africa The Pacific Ocean is to the east of Asia The Indian Ocean is to the south of Asia, near the country of India Asia is the largest continent on earth! Asia Indian Ocean Pacific Ocean

Countries in Asia China There are many different countries in Asia One important country in Asia is China Other important countries in Asia are Japan and India China

People in Asia Asia has more people than all other continents put together! Asia is a very crowded continent!

Animals in Asia One cool animal that lives in Asia is the Giant Panda Pandas live in the cool mountains of China and eat bamboo When people cut down bamboo forests, pandas lose their habitat and food 

Weather in Asia The northern part of Asia is very cold and is sometimes called Siberia The southern parts of Asia, like Japan, are warmer and wetter because they are closer to the equator They have typhoons there, which are like our hurricanes
