The Broom hill & shoestring theatre company Present the history of Brandon in words and sounds

THE BROOM HILL Owned by Alex Beckhelling, The Broom Hill studios in Brandon based at the Music Arts Project CIC is a purpose built studio with attached rooms for recording bands or groups of singers. Alex Beckhelling has been trained by Simon Humphrey (ABBA, culture Club) and has worked as a studio owner, producer and engineer

SHOESTRING THEATRE COMPANY Based at the high school in Brandon have been bringing drama to Brandon since 1985. Traditionally they put on a pantomime in January and with a summer show, cabaret, and similar theatrical production offer their members a great chance to get involved in amateur dramatics.

THE CREATION OF AN AUDIO TRAIL FOR BRANDON USING THE STORIES FOUND BY THE BRANDON HERITAGE GROUP SHOESTRING THEATRE COMPANY WILL CREATE A SCRIPT AND ACT THIS OUT IN THE BROOM HILL STUDIO CREATING AN AUDIO TRAIL, THAT ONCE SOUND EFFECTS HAVE BEEN ADDED, WILL CREATE A FANTASTIC AURAL EXPERIENCE FOR ANYONE TAKING THE BRANDON TRAIL IN SEPTEMBER
