Communication Every year our way of communication is developing. It started and continued like this: -Paintings? Symbols? -Verbally? Orally? -Sign language? -Hand written? Letter? Novel? -Computer: Typed or via email? Text message, Facebook, Twitter, My Space, Skype, Voipcheap, ICQ, iPhone.

How do we know what media was used before? Paintings on cave walls Stone tablets Hieroglyphics Epic poems.

About epic poems. Epic poetry is a narrative poems, concerning a big subject “containing details of heroic deeds and event significant to a culture or nation”. They are usually remembered by the bard which is the story teller. What can help the bard remember? -Rap songs -short poems -any song

What makes an epic poem? -always have a hero. -a test worthiness to complete said quest. -Quest is to test the hero. -Needs a magical/unreal world, unable to be visited by a normal human that the hero visits. - State of denial

Vocabulary Protagonist- hero, main character, good person. Antagonist- bad person often super natural. Bard- story telling (Epic poems)
