The story so far.. The group was established in 1921 by Mr. Alfredo Gusti under the name of Gusti Alfredo SpA Since the very beginning the core business has been both the manufacturing and the engineering of mechanical components with a special focus on gears and transmissions A strong relationship with the Navy and the Railway industry was immediatley established for the production of gears and gearboxes

The story so far.. During 1977 OCMI was established. This company main business was and still is the engineering and manufacturing of glass machines In 1986 Gusti Alfredo SPA spin-off all its assets into a Newco named O.T.G. and also moved to a new premise in Milano (Via Venezia Giulia,7) 2005 OCMI and OTG merged into OCMI-OTG Spa During 2005 OCMI-OTG Spa bought METI S.r.l

A higly skilled team of five engineers constanly follows every step of the project.Tight and precise quality control along the process assures quality and precision.

Products Gears Straight spur and helical spur Gears Bevel Gear with straight, spiroid and hypoid Gear with involute Project and Development of medium lots of gears based on customer needs for different industrial applications (railway transmissions,steel plants,etc.). All operations are checked and realised inside the workshop except for the heat treatment which is outsourced according to the strict quality control system.

Technical Accuracy We design with the aim of obtaining the best functional performance Constant use of the most advanced integrated computer aided design system Highest precision in verifying torsional strenght and resistance to bending thanks to finite element programming system Final test executed according to test procedures for speed increasers and reducers, and particularly with possibility of load test until 1.000 Cv.
