The Fall of the Berlin Wall

What Happen? Physical division between West Berlin and East Germany. The Berlin Wall, Communism took place in much of Europe and the Soviet Union.

When did it Happen? Berlin Wall happen between August 13,1961 through November 9,1989

Who was involved? Soviet Union John F Kennedy was president at the time. Ronald Reagan who presented a speech. Germany Berlin Citizens

Deaths and Births 136 Million died During the Berlin Wall. 5,000 tried to escape from the Berlin wall

What was the effects?

Many People tried to escape and get through the Berlin Wall to the other side. People where shot on sight. Germans could not visit their families nor friends. Families where separated People lost jobs and had lack of food. Separated the people from FREEDOM.

Are the People with us today 3.4 Million people are still facing the Berlin Wall. The Berlin Wall is still up with people wishing to be free.
