A volcano is an opening, or rupture, in a planet's surface or crust, which allows hot magma, ash and gases to escape from below the surface.

Contents Volcanoes Introduction Tsunamis Pompeii Earthquake

Introduction Tremors could be lots of assorted natural disasters like : Volcanoes, Tsunamis, Earthquakes and Hurricanes.

Earthquakes Earthquakes Earthquakes are a shake from tectonic plates rubbing together. How earthquakes are formed. Earthquakes are formed in three steps:1.Two tectonic plates rub together.2.The ground starts to shake.3.Everything starts to fall over. Where have Earthquakes happened? Some of the most famous earthquakes have happened in Italy, Japan and Haiti . The colossal Italian earthquake hit central Italy on the 23rd of August 2016.The Japanese earthquake happened in 2011.The Haitian earthquake happened in 2001. Most of the French people are trying to help the Italians build their houses again.

Volcanoes What is a Volcano ? Volcanoes are ginormous mountains that are full of larva and all of the larva comes out fast . Why do Volcanoes erupt? Volcanoes erupt because the larva forces the volcano to erupt . Also the real name is magma. What are the famous Volcanoes called? One of the most famous volcanoes are Mount Vesuvius. That’s one of the famous volcanoes I know because Year three have been learning about Mount Vesuvius . There’s another famous volcano called Kilimanjaro .It’s famous because of it’s stunning beauty.

Pompeii Two thousand years ago Pompeii was covered in ash by Mount Vesuvius . Pompeii gives us singular proof of the appearance of Roman roads and shows with what accuracy they were constructed . Pompeii is an ancient city in Rome. Pompeii was a village on the foot of a devastating Volcano ,Mount Vesuvius.

Tsunamis Here, a tsunami in Indonesia has destroyed a village that is a long way from the sea. 1. An earthquake jolts the sea floor up and down. 2.The sea above it is jolted , too. Waves form on the surface. 3. Waves start to race towards the shore, gradually getting bigger and more powerful. 4. Massive waves crash onto the shore with enough force to destroy buildings and trees.
