2017 Achievements Secured $251,225 Broward County reimbursement for coastal projects Completed Hillsboro Canal dredging project with Boca Raton FEMA coordination for beach funding for Hurricane Matthew impacts Implementation of Tower 7 Solid Waste Management System Internalized Fleet Management Parts Room for an expected savings of $60,000 annually Implemented a second shift to perform preventative maintenance Rear-end loader utilization to stabilize bulk collections and reduce delays Elimination of 1 collection route
