Band Congratulations to senior trumpet player, Hiott Hames, who was selected to be a part of the Bands of America (BOA) Honor Band for 2017. Hiott will represent Robinson at the 2017 Tournament of Roses parade in Pasadena, California in January.

PreACT Testing A PreACT Student Profile Letter is posted on School Website under Quick Links, it explains how students can create an ACT profile. This will need to be done yourself. Parents and students can voluntarily access and complete the pretest portion.

Hispanic Heritage Dinner Celebrating Diversity and Multiculturalism in our community come to celebrate with us our Hispanic Heritage month. This event is open to all at the cafeteria on October 27th from 5-8 for 5 dollars.

JROTC Drill Team & Exhibition Team tryouts are every Wednesday after school. Saber Team tryouts are every Tuesday. Color Guard tryouts are every Thursday. All active and reserve cadets may try out. Tryouts will be from 2:30-3:30.

PSAT The PSAT is October 19th.  Sign-ups are in guidance.  Students who have or are taking Math II.  Juniors must take the PSAT to be entered into the National Merit Scholars competition.

See You at the Pole Come and join FCA/YCI for See You at the Pole next Wednesday, Sept. 28. Food will be available, so come and join us for a time of fellowship and gathering! We will meet at the Pole in the front of the school. (If it rains, we will meet in the gym!) See you there!

Technology Experience Day Get hands on experience in the technology programs at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College by developing your own app, work with sheet metal, print your own 3D model and more! Theatre Presents Auditions for the fall play Temporary Heroes will be Oct 4th and 5th from 2:30-4:30 in the auditorium. Rehearsal schedules and character lists are posted outside the auditorium and theatre classroom (844) and on the theatre website. Students may see Mrs. Boger with questions or to preview a script.

Trunk or Treat International Thespian Society is hosting a Trunk or Treat Fall Festival Food Drive in the Commons on October 26th. If you or your club is interested in sponsoring a table see Mrs. Platek in 912.
