1 Tri-Valley High School Announcements

2 Homecoming Student council will begin selling tickets during the lunch periods on THURSDAY of this week. Cost of each ticket is 8$. If you are bringing a guest from another school, you MUST have a guest form turned in before you can buy tickets. Guest forms are available on Mrs. Brennen & Mrs. Roberts websites, outside of their rooms, and in the office.

3 Boys soccer The boys soccer team will be playing at crew stadium on Sept. 24 at 11 A.M. We will take a student fan bus if there is enough interest. Sign up in the office by this friday.

4 Nightmare in Nashport Nightmare in Nashport needs volunteers to help run the trail on every weekend in October. Come find out more info and sign up in Ms. Verhoff’s room (N-4).

5 Yearbooks The yearbooks are now being distributed in the offic. To purchase a yearbook the cost is $55, and the personalization will be an extra charge. Please see Mr. Blair for an order form.

6 Candle Sale The choir Yankee Candle Sale has begun. See a choir member if you would like to get a head start on your holiday shopping and purchase some candles. 40% of the profits directly benefit the choir program. Thank you for your support.

7 Community youth foundation
The community youth foundation is now accepting new members. Any freshman or sophomores is welcome to apply. The deadline is Friday, September 23rd. Talk to Emma Palko or go to mccf.org for more information.

9 Fellowship of Christian Students
There will be a meeting in Mrs.Gasparines room (D-2) every Thursday from 2:30- 3:30. Everyone is welcome to come any Thursday.

10 Juniors and Seniors For any undecided Junior or Senior about their college choice there will be a trip to the Zane State and OUZ campus, other college representatives will be there and will be on October 14th and will be during 3rd and 5th period, limited spots available. If interested go to Student Services and sign up by September 23rd.

12 Homecoming Spirit Week
Tuesday: Tacky Tourist Wednesday: Hobby Day ( Wear your hobby as long as school appropriate.) Thursday: USA Day (‘Merica!) Friday: TV Spirit Day

13 Freshman Reminder to freshmen interested in a class officer position, your petitions are due back to the office by the end of the day on Tuesday, September 20.

14 Soccer JV and Varsity boys soccer practice is from 6 to 7:45 p.m on the turf tonight.

15 Tri-Valley Band Congratulations to the Tri-Valley Marching Scotties. The band competed in their first Ohio Music Education Association sanctioned event this past Saturday at Lancaster High School. The band placed 6th out of 16 competing bands and received an overall rating of Excellent. The band will be competing in 2 weeks at Zanesville High School. Go Scotties!

16 Financial aid A financial aid representative will be in Student Services tomorrow during lunch periods to share tips and facts about FASFA. Stop by Guidance to sign up.

17 College Visits Upcoming college visits: Today 2nd- COTC, Thursday 7th- Ashland, Next Wednesday 2nd- Findlay. Stop by Student Services to sign up.

18 Senior Photo The senior panoramic picture will be taken on Wednesday morning after Homeroom Attendance has been taken. Orders are due the day of the picture. Please use the order envelope given to you in your English class to order online. See Mrs. McLoughlin or Mrs. Lovallo with any questions.

19 Congratulations to Dalton Crowley who was the individual medalist this Saturday at Hickory Flats Golf course. He shot a 71 to win the tournament.

20 Ruriteen Ruriteen is still looking for volunteers to help with Nightmare in Nashport. Volunteer sign ups and information can be found in Ms. Verhoff’s room (N-4)

21 COTC representatives Representatives from COTC will be here 2nd period today. Come to Student Services right after announcements to sign up

22 Wrestling meeting There will be a brief meeting for anyone interested in wrestling who is not involved in a fall sport. Wednesday after morning announcements in room A-7.

23 A Cappella A Cappella Club will meet Wednesday at 3:00 p.m in the choir room (D-7). Bring your signed permission form.
