2. A HELPING HAND
Peer tutoring assistance is available in the media center.

3. PARKING DECALS
This is a reminder that all students must purchase a parking decal to park on campus.
If you have not purchased a decal, please stop by the main office to complete your application.

4. If you are interested in doing the K-Pop dance in the International Festival, please meet in room 127 (Mr. Quincey’s room) today at 3:30 PM.

5. Varsity softball will travel to Union Grove for a game this afternoon at 5:55 PM.
The freshman football team will also play at Union Grove tonight. Kickoff time is 6:00 PM
JV football will host the Wolverines of Union Grove in Bulldog Stadium this evening at 6:00 PM.

6. Do you like Anime, games or anything along those lines?
Join the G.A.M.E. Club. They meet every Thursday from 3:25 to 5:25 PM in room 127.

7. GEZZO’S SPIRIT NIGHT
Every Thursday during football season is spirit night at Gezzo’s.
Please come out tonight and support your Dutchtown High School football team while enjoying dinner.

8. JUNIOR LUNCH JAM
The junior lunch jam will be held tomorrow during 3rd block. Tickets for entry only are still available for purchase from Ms. Johnson in room 224 or during lunch from class officers.

9. National Honor Society (NHS) applications are due on Friday, September 6.

10. SKATE NIGHT
The DHS Football Booster Club presents Skate Night with THE DAWGS! Join us at the Starlite Skating Center in McDonough on Saturday, September 7, from 7pm-11pm.
The cost is $20 and includes unlimited skating and laser tag. Wristbands can be purchased in the front office with Ms. Ward or at the door. Please come out and show your support.

11. HBCU COLLEGE FAIR
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will sponsor an HBCU College Fair on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 10 AM to 2:00 PM at Tabernacle of Praise Church in McDonough.

12. BASKETBALL CHEERLEADER TRYOUTS
Basketball cheerleader clinic & tryouts will be held on Monday- Wednesday, September 9-11.
You must have an updated physical on file and all forms must be filled out.
Completed cheer packets/applications are due today and should be turned in to Ms. Martin in room 110 or Ms. Acosta in room 216.

13. SOPHOMORE/JUNIOR PARENT NIGHT
Sophomore/Junior parent night will be held in the DHS Commons on Tuesday, September 10, at 6:00 PM.
Come join us to learn more about dual enrollment, honors/AP programs, work-based learning and much more.

14. SCIENCE FAIR NIGHT
Science Fair night will be held on Thursday, September 12, from 4:00- 4:30 PM.
Please stop by prior to attending parent-teacher conference night.

15. Parent – teacher conferences
Parent-Teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, September 12, from 4 PM to 7 PM.
Parents can schedule conferences with one or more teacher using the links on the Dutchtown website.
Advanced sign-up is required.

16. SAVE THE DATE
Georgia Tech will host a NACAC Stem College & Career Fair from 1pm to 4pm on Sunday, September 29, at McCamish Pavilion.

17. All seniors graduating in May must pay the mandatory senior fee of $200.
The first payment of $50 is due on Monday, September 30.
You may pay Ms. Martin in room 110 before school, during 4th block or directly after school. Please see Ms. Martin with questions.

18. JUNIOR & SENIOR PROM
The junior and senior prom will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the Four Seasons Atlanta.
Prom tickets are now on sale and can be purchased for $110 each until September 30. Prices will increase thereafter.
Tickets can be bought online at myschoolbucks.com. They may also be purchased from Ms. Johnson in room 224 using cash, check or money order.

19. MR. & MRS. DRAMA
Please stop by room 308 to vote for Mr. and Mrs. Drama.
Deadline for voting is September 30.

20. ASVAB The ASVAB will be given on Tuesday, October 8.
Please go to the counseling office to sign up.

21. Senior portraits
Cady Studios will be back at DHS for the final senior yearbook picture day on Tuesday, October 14.
If you do not sign up for this day, you will have to go to one of the Cady Studios locations.

22. The PSAT is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16, during 1st block through an extended 2nd block.
First time 10th graders are scheduled to test at no cost. The cost is $17 for any freshman or junior who would like to test.
