Work readiness, Postsecondary/ Career Navigation and Coaching SkillWorks’ Youth & Young Adult Investment Strategy K-12, HSE, CTE CBOs Comm-unity Colleges > Skills for postsecondary, career & life success (e.g. college/ career readiness, financial literacy, executive functioning/ critical thinking) > Career awareness and exposure across multiple industries (e.g. access to and preparation for work based and work place learning, internships, employer engagement, employer readiness and support) Work readiness, Postsecondary/ Career Navigation and Coaching > Providers have skills and resources needed to provide full range of postsecondary/ career navigation and coaching (e.g. networks and capacity building to facilitate seamless transitions, postsecondary and career awareness/ exposure, soft skills/work readiness best practices and curriculum) Regardless of the path they take, every youth and young adult is equipped with the skills, career navigation and support needed to access and excel in postsecondary education, career and life; and Every businesses has access to a prepared pool of talent, as well as the support and strategies to recruit, hire, and retain skilled employees.
