Charity Christmas Cheer Joshua McCormack Fundraiser. Charity Christmas Cheer St John with St Michael CE Primary School Moss Side St, Shawforth OL128EP Telephone 01706 852614

Who is Joshua? Joshua is a lovely, bubbly little boy in our Reception class- here at SJSM. He is only 4 years old. He lives in our local area with his Mum and Dad. JOSHUA IS VERY POORLY!

What is wrong? Joshua has a tumour (growth) on his brain. It is VERY rare. Only 66 people in the whole wide world have it. He has had a big operation to try to take it out. Joshua will be in hospital for quite a while. He is going to be having a lot of special medicine called Chemotherapy, to make the tumour stop growing and go away.

What we are going to do! On Tuesday 8th December we will be doing a sponsored assault course and circuit. Everyone has been given a sponsor sheet. Please ask EVERYONE to sponsor you. It will be lots of fun!!!!! All the money you raise goes to Joshua's Fund.

There are 130 children in school, if each child gets £5 sponsorship each – Q: HOW MUCH CAN WE SEND TO JOSHUAS FUND? ANSWER = £650.00!!!! If everyone gets £10 each – We could raise double that...... £650 + £650 = £1300.00!!!!

There has been lots in the news about Joshua...

The Christmas Cheer Event. The S.O.S (parents and teachers group) working with the famous Farmer Terry, are part funding a wonderful festive fun event at ANIMAL QUACKERS in Bacup. For only £4.00 you get to: See Santa & his elves Have your photograph taken Receive a small gift Meet the reindeer Do some Christmas Crafts Have a hot chocolate write a letter to the North Pole AND...

YOU GET TO GO IN MR SIMS MINIBUS ........

NOT TO BE MISSED! The Animal Quackers Festive Fun trip will be brilliant. It is also a non-uniform day – wear Christmas tights or a tie. Please make sure that you return the letter with your £4.00 as soon as possible. ALL THE MONEY RAISED WILL GO BACK INTO JOSHUA’S FUND! Let’s all spread the Christmas Cheer and Sparkle and Shine!!!
