Technology on e-Commerce In the past decade, e-commerce and enterprise computing has been successfully established as a feasible, profitable, and continually evolving technology. Although many people think of e-commerce as “online shopping”, the technology and its application are now much broader and encompass most business operations in modern enterprises. There is a growing engineering community focusing on technical and algorithmic issues on the business process.

Business Informatics Business Informatics takes an proactive role in aligning business objectives, business processes and IT. The core element of business informatics is a methodological approach for describing, explaining, predicting, and designing information and communication models, architectures, and systems for the business environment.

Business Informatics and Systems Business informatics is a discipline combining information technology (IT), informatics and management concepts.
