Crop details Selection of crop Origin and distribution Varieties Used

PROCCEDURE FOR PLANTATION OF CAPSICUM CROP Seed bed preparation manually prepared on dated 10 January 2011 Bed preparation for transplanting manually prepared with width 90cm and 1130 cm length and 20 cm height, of pathway 1 m was left along midway. Transplanting method on 23/01/2011. row spacing of 45 cm x 50 cm.

Crop period- total crop period of vegetable crop in the field for 4 months from transplanting. Irrigation – 5 day interval by can till the maturity of plant. Weed control- twice in week. Ventilation- 50 percent ventilation was provided in shadenet house fan pad cooling system was provided in polyhouse. Biometric characteristics- plant 'h' height, number of leaves and branches were measured at regular interval.

Measurement of Environmental parameters Temperature -with the help of digital thermohygrometer Relative humidity-with the help of digital thermohygrometer Light intensity-with the help of digital luxmeter. Yield -measured by electronic weight balance
