MĂGURENI CONSTRUCŢII manufactures, sells and installs lined manifolds OMV-Petrom, the largest oil company in Romania is one of our major clients Over 450 inside-coated (lined) manifold lines have been in operation in the OMV-Petrom facilities since 2007 Lining is done with a special polymer, ensuring total protection against corrosion and abrasion, avoiding costly leaks and shutdowns Specific existing designs can be easily reengineered to facilitate the lining process

There are generally two types of manifolds: Oil collection manifolds – concentrating oil wells into parks Water injection manifolds – used for injecting the water resulted from crude oil separation

Complex piping systems, such as our manifolds, are lined (inside coated) with a continuous and seamless polymer layer providing total corrosion and abrasion protection, so that the fluid is no longer in contact with the steel.

System Features The polymer layer is usually 3 mm thick; this does not reduce the flow, due to the lower friction coefficient of the fluid against the polymer When the original design requires an amount of corrosion allowance, this can be replaced by the polymer layer, while keeping the same internal diameter of the piping system Fluid temperatures up to 50 °C The use of other polymers make possible higher fluid temperatures The polymer has a good resistance to the chemical compounds of crude oil

Design and Manufacture The design is done by our team of design engineers using high performance CAD software (SolidWorks®), Manufacturing is done using welding tables, orbital welding machines, CNC machine tools and high quality stainless steel or Nedox® coated valves (choke valves, ball valves, disk-check valves). In our endeavour to provide the best practices of quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems, our company has been certified by TÜV Austria for ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

We have also been accredited by TÜV Austria for the production of pressure equipment according to PED 97/23/EC (ISO 3834-2); the E1 and D1 certification authorizes us to affix the marking to our manifolds.
