Monte Sano State Park Monte Sano State Park is in Huntsville Alabama. In Spanish, Monte Sano means “Mountain of Health.” The Monte Sano Lodge offers settings that is ideal for a variety of events including weddings and family reunions with fourteen rustic cabins perched on the side of the mountain with kitchens, fireplaces, cable television, outdoor grills, picnic tables, and porches for viewing the amazing sunrises.
