Some tips & tricks Funding platforms: Kickstarter, sponsormyevent.com Shared publicity and marketing (t-shirts, logos, social media) Make a simple budget overview to show your accountability Sell merchandise during the event, or raise small entrance/participation fees Mix all forms of sponsorship/financing: no one feels like he is the only one taking a risk
