How does the 13th amendment eliminates slavery but at the same time still supports a firm of slavery? The 13th amendment does eliminates slavery but also still support a form of slavery. The U.S constitution now stated that neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the united states.

What was the outcome of the 14th amendment and what possible changes in the amendment might have made it more effective? Congress adopted the 14th amendment and send it to the state for approval. All but Tennessee did reject it and the amendment was not ratified until 1868. The 14th amendment made all person born on neutralized in the united states citizens of the country.

How did the 15th amendment bring an important victory to the radical republicans? The 15th amendment which was ratified by the states in 1870s was an important victory for the radicals. Some southern governments refaced to enforced the 14th and 15th amendment and some white southerners used violence to prevent Africans Americans from voting.
