Independent Learning The new Science GCSEs are a lot more challenging. Students who “drift” through Y10 and start working after the mock exams in Y11 will really struggle. Independent learning is the key to doing well. Students who succeed: Stay on top of their work and complete homework on time and to a good standard. Read over work covered in lessons. Independently go over topics they struggle with. Actively seek out teachers to get support.
