FFA Basics Part 1

Objectives To become aware of basic FFA Information

What is the FFA ? The FFA is the largest youth organization in the world with over 600,000 members. It’s main goal is to help develop agriculture students with skill that will make the successful in the real world Skills Public Speaking and Human Relations Community Service Professional demeanor Global outlook of the world

Why Agriculture Agriculture Employs ¼ of the nations workforce Less than 2% of that is in farming Career Opportunities (over 300) Biochemist Veterinarian Textiles Nutrition.

FFA Mission To develop: Opening and closing Ceremonies Premier leadership Personal growth Career success Opening and closing Ceremonies Rituals that add dignity to a meeting and explain the meaning of certain traditional emblems
