Pledge of Allegiance According to the Flag Code, the Pledge "should be rendered by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Members of the Armed Forces and veterans who are present and not in uniform may render the military salute. Persons in uniform should remain silent, face the flag, and render the military salute"

Pledge of Allegiance I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty, and justice for all.

Volunteers Needed Club Photographer Raffle Backup Coffee Backup Book helpers

Club Photographer We need one or more people who can be the club’s “photographer(s)”. The person should: be a decent photographer experienced in taking pictures both indoors and out have some experience and comfort with “image manipulation” software so you can take “not quite right” images and “make them better”, and can go through the “too many” pictures you have taken and condense it down to a reasonable number. be willing to attend a reasonable number of meetings and club events. The probably focus (no pun) will be special meetings like Open House and WWII Music Night, and trips. Trips availability is not critical because most trips will have at least one person who will volunteer to be the “trip photographer”. If you are a member of a camera or photography club you are probably well qualified.

Club Photographer So, why do we want this? Several reasons: We have several events and trips coming up and want to have some photographic record of those events. If you check out the web site, we have some images of our DC trip and our Hawaii trip but little else Having pictures of people enjoying what the club has to offer is more powerful than words about what we do We get the occasional request for a picture or two from local media who are doing an article on the club.
