Lubricants Gas mixtures greater than 50% O2: Oxygen compatible lubricant such as Christo-Lube, Tribolube, or other O2 compatible lube should be used

Lubricants Helmets/Band Masks used for enriched air at 50% O2 or less can be lubricated with food grade silicone Dow Corning 111, Tribolube 2080L, or equivalent

Lubricants Regardless of lubricants used, avoid mixing different kinds of lubricants DO NOT USE ANY KIND OF LUBRICANTS ON DIAPHRAGM OR EXHAUST VALVES

Maintenance Training Policy Changes KIRBY MORGAN HELMETS AND BAND MASK CHECKLISTS/TRAINING KM has developed pre and post dive maintenance checklists to assist in the safe use of KM equipment Checklists, for KM Helmets/Band Masks should be used as a guide to ensure equipment is set-up and maintained properly KM always welcomes all constructive criticism on the new checklists, manuals, and products.
