10th Grade Geometry CC Standards Make Geometric Constructions; Experiment with Transformation in the Plane Understand congruence in terms of rigid motions. Prove geometric theorems. Modeling with Geometry: Apply geometric concepts in modeling situations. Understand similarity in terms of similarity transformations Prove theorems involving similarity. Apply geometric concepts in modeling situations. Use coordinates to prove simple geometric theorems algebraically. Understand and prove theorems about circles; find arc lengths and areas of sectors of circles. Translate between the geometric description and the equation for a conic section.  Define trigonometric ratios and solve problems involving right triangles. Explain volume formulas and use them to solve problems; Visualize relationships between 2-D and 3-D objects. Understand independence and conditional probability and use them to interpret data Use rules of probability to compute probabilities of compound events in a uniform probability model. Use probability to evaluate outcomes of decisions. At San Pedro High students, teachers, and parents work together to make learning better!

9th Grade Algebra 1 CC Standards Solve equations and inequalities involving absolute values. Solve multistep problems, including word problems, and linear equations and inequalities in one variable. Use the rules for exponents Graph linear equations and compute the x- and y-intercepts. Understand the concepts of parallel and perpendicular lines and how the concepts are related. Solve systems of linear equations in two variables algebraically and graphically. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide monomials and polynomials. Apply basic factoring techniques to second- and third degree polynomials. Understand the concepts of relations and functions. Use the quadratic formula to find the roots of a second-degree polynomial. Graph linear, quadratic, and exponential functions. At San Pedro High students, teachers, and parents work together to make learning better!

Grading Criteria Grades Algebra: Online Assignments (demo.bigideasmath.com), Quizzes (Half way through the chapter), Tests(At the end of each chapter), Exit tickets (about once a week) Algebra Tutorial: Classwork, Story Problems, Quick Writes, In-class participation.
