About William Shakespeare was born in 1564, in Straford-Upon-Avon to parents Mary and John. At the age of 18, he married Anne Hathaway, and they had a daughter, Susanna, and twins, Hamnet and Judith.

Career In the 1580’s, he moved to London to pursue a career in the theatre. He became an actor, with a group called ‘The King’s Company’. In 1599, he and other members of this group built a theatre called ‘The Globe’. During this time he also became a very popular writer of poems and plays.

The globe It was originally built in 1599 When it was destroyed by a fire in 1613 And rebuilt in 1614 And then demolished in 1644 The modern Globe Theatre was rebuilt and is based on the evidence Now only 1400 spectators instead of 3000

Death Shakespeare moved back to his birthplace, Stratford-Upon- Avon in 1613. He died on the 23rd of April 1616, he was also believed to have been born on the 23rd of April. He was buried in Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-Upon-Avon.
