The theme of the lesson: Free time The aim of the lesson: 1.Educational: to give some information about new lexical theme. 2.Developing:-reading -writing -oral speech 3.Bringing up; to bring up love and interest to the subject, respect to each other. The equipment of the lesson: active board, student’s book, activity book.

Procedure of the lesson. 1.Organization moment. Greeting! Good morning, children! Sit down, please! Who is on duty today? Who is absent? What day is it today? What date is it today? What season is it now? What is the weather like?

Phonetic drill. Do you like books or magazines? Music or TV? Do you like swimming in the pool or swimming in the sea? Do you like strawberry milkshakes? Chocolate bars or cake? Do you like eating sandwiches or eating steak? What do you really like to do? What’s your favourite way to spend the day? Do you like this? Do you like that? Do you like dogs or do you like cats?

Do you like Scooby Dooby Doo? Brown or red or blue? Do you like playing football or going to the zoo? Do you like French or Geography? Music or It? Do you like English or do you like PE? What do you really like to do? What’s your favourite way to spend the day? Do you like this? Do you like that? Do you like dogs or do you like cats?

Check up homework. What was your homework? You must find out about your classmates likes and dislikes. E.g. He likes coffee but he doesn’t like tea.

The new theme. Today’s our new theme is “Free time”. And we have new words and expressions. Let’s learn them -Take my dog for a walk. - Play computer games.

Collect badges. Draw cartoons.

Ride a bike. Listen to music.

Watch TV. Read books.

Go swimming. Make model planes.

Write a diary. Go ice-skating.

Doing exercises. Open your books at page 54. Ex.1. Picture search. What do Iza and Boris do in their free time? Who does what? Find clues in the pictures. Write notes. E.g.1.Iza.

Ex.2. Presentation. a) Listen to Iza and Boris. Find the answers.

b) Now listen again. Point to the things in the pictures and say the sentences. E.g.I take my dog for walk.

Ex.3.Comprehension. How many of Iza and Boris’ free-time activities do you do? Make true sentences. E.g.I take my dog for a walk. I don’t draw cartoons.

Ex.4.Listening. Cover page 54. Listen to the questions. Can you remember who does these things? Say the names. E.g.Who makes model planes? Boris.

Now make sentences about Boris or Iza. E.g. Boris makes model planes.
