USING KSWAN SERVICES - HOW? - DO’S AND DONOT’S

Getting Ready to use KSWAN Departments need to provide KSWAN User name and user-id to avail KSWAN services Departments need to register GBC users Username and Password should be given by the department for Dial-up connection

What is expected from Departments Nominate a technical representative for co-ordination with Help Desk for getting connected to KSWAN. Provide UPS power to the equipment 3 KVA – 1 hr backup

How to Book VC View availability of slot before scheduling VC. Use mentioned Link: www.KTKSWAN.GOV.IN View availability of slot before scheduling VC. Send a mail to video@ktkswan.gov.in Will get a return mail in confirmation

Do’s Provide UPS power to run the equipment. Keep the equipments (Router/Switch/LAN Extender) switched on 24x7. Ensure Security of the devices. Call Help Desk team for any technical guidance. Place request to Help Desk for relocating the equipment.

Do NOT Switch off equipments. Operate equipments without UPS Power. Troubleshooting without proper guidance from Help Desk Team. Remove power plug or Data Cable. Move the equipment from installed locations.
