Revelation Part 3 Lesson 3

Review 6th Seal: The heavenly bodies (sun, moon, stars) are affected. On earth: mountains and islands move. Men hide from God’s wrath. 7th Seal: Silence in heaven for about 30 minutes. THEN 7 trumpets are given to 7 angels.

Trumpets (review) First four trumpets reveal judgments that affect 1/3 of the earth. 1/3 of trees, earth, all green grass-burned 1/3 of the sea becomes blood 1/3 of waters become bitter 1/3 of sun, moon, stars don’t shine: 1/3 of the earth is darkened

Trumpets Three Woes on Earth 5th Trumpet = 1st Woe Locusts 6th Trumpet = 2nd Woe 1/3 of men killed 7th Trumpet = ABOUT to sound, the mystery of God is finished, 2 witnesses killed 7th Trumpet = 3rd Woe Kingdom of this world becomes the kingdom of the Lord and His Christ: He begins to reign NOW salvation, power, kingdom of God and authority of Christ have come

Trumpets 7th Trumpet Woman (Israel) flees to the wilderness for 1,260 days Beast begins to reign 42 months and wars with the saints Devil persecutes/pursues the woman’s offspring The HOUR for the earth to be reaped comes Time for the wine press of God’s wrath

Revelation 15 WHEN the 7th trumpet sounds, the temple in heaven opens and there are signs in heaven Sign #1 Woman Sign #2 Dragon Sign #3 Plagues/bowls 7 Bowls of God’s wrath come out of the 7th trumpet Temple fills with smoke from God’s glory and power He rules over ALL events

Revelation 16 1st Bowl: Malignant sores on marked people 2nd Bowl: Sea becomes blood and ALL creatures in it die 2nd Trumpet: 1/3 of sea is blood 1/3 of sea creatures die 1/3 of ships destroyed 3rd Bowl: Rivers and springs become blood 3rd Trumpet: Great star from heaven falls, like a burning torch: 1/3 of rivers and springs become bitter (Wormwood)

Revelation 16 4th Bowl: Sun scorches men with fierce heat 4th Trumpet: Affects 1/3 of sun 5th Bowl: Beast’s kingdom is darkened People still have sores from first bowl These plagues appear to happen in rapid succession 5th Trumpet: Sun and air darkened from so much smoke rising from bottomless pit 6th Bowl: Euphrates River dries up (became blood in the 3rd bowl)

Revelation 16 No rain for the 3 ½ years of two witnesses, AND at the 2nd and 3rd trumpets 1/3 of the sea became blood, 1/3 of waters were bitter then at the 2nd and 3rd bowls ALL the sea and waters became blood: Earth is dry!!!! Then, demonic spirits perform signs and gather the kings of the earth at Har-Magedon to war against God. 7th Bowl: It is done. Wrath of God is finished Earthquake, city splits, islands and mountains flee, 100 lb. hailstones..Men STILL blaspheme Babylon the Great is remembered: given cup of God’s wrath to drink

Revelation 17 and 18 The Fall of Babylon and God’s wrath on her Pictured as a great harlot/prostitute sitting on the beast Babylon is the economical capital of the earth Great city of the beast’s kingdom At some point, the beast and the ten kings destroy Babylon In one day/one hour the city falls She is drunk with the blood of the saints and Jesus’ witnesses – she deserves wrath

Revelation 17 and 18 Beast has a fatal wound that is healed Earth dwellers are amazed and wonder Beast’s 7 heads = 7 kings…5 have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come Beast is of the seven and also an 8th 10 horns = 10 kings with no kingdom yet 10 kings give their authority to the beast and war with the Lamb Babylon sits on peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues and 10 kings and beast destroy her

Revelation 19 and 20 Jesus returns to earth and reigns 1,000 years Devil is bound during this time – in BP Devil is released AFTER the 1,000 years and leads a final attack on “the camp of the saints” Fire devours attackers and devil is thrown into the Lake of Fire FOREVER!!!! God avenges the blood of His saints (5th seal) Jesus rules with rod of iron and treads the wine press of God’s wrath

Revelation 19 and 20 Jesus strikes the nations with the sword of His mouth He is King of kings and Lord of lords Birds directly overhead eat the flesh of the kings of the earth at Great Supper of God Beast and false prophet thrown in Lake of Fire Review: AFTER the 1,000 years: Devil released but there is no battle: fire comes from heaven and devours them. Devil thrown into Lake of Fire forever Earth and heaven flee Dead are judged and thrown in Lake of Fire

Revelation 21 and 22 There WILL be a new heaven and new earth God the Almighty and the Lamb WILL live among people The river of life and the tree of life WILL be there. Blessing and Warning given
