4. Second trumpet is sounded v. 8, 9
A great burning mountain
thrown into the sea
1/3 of the sea turns to blood
1/3 of all sea life is killed
1/3 of all ships destroyed
Third trumpet is sounded v. 10, 11
A Great Burning Star—Wormwood
Fell from heaven
1/3 of the rivers and springs made bitter
Many men die from drinking the water made bitter

5. Fourth trumpet is sounded v. 12
Sun, moon, and stars smitten
Give up 1/3 of their light
Day and night altered 1/3 darkness
Then the mid-heaven eagle speaks
And you think that’s bad
WOE, WOE, WOE! To those who dwell on the earth
“The last three trumpets are about to sound”
Woe 1 & 2, Trumpet 5 & 6: Divine judgments against man
Woe 3, 7th Trumpet: contains 7 bowl judgments against the nations
