WHAT THE FUNCTION OF SCADA? In general SCADA functions are: Tele Komando functions:: To make the remote control (open / close) from the control center. Telesignal functions: : To collect data on the status of the position open/close. Telemetering functions: : To find out the amount of voltage, current and frequency.

Principal function of SCADA 1. Acquisition of data / information Which is a process of reception / collection of data from various equipment in the data / information can be: a. Status indication, such as the position of Circuit Breaker (CB) or disconnecting switch (DS). b. Scale - scale of measurement, such as reactive power, temperature, transformer tap positions. c. The amount of energy.

- Reports. - Graphic / kurva. - The result of the calculation. Principal function of SCADA 2. Processing data / information. Which is a process of calculation, data analysis / information obtained from the results of data collection. Results of processing data / information, can be displayed in the form of:   - Reports. - Graphic / kurva. - The result of the calculation. 3. Supervisory Control. That is the function of a remote control equipment Electric Power Systems, for example, operate a CB or DS. Purpose of application scada To provide the information necessary in order to bolster the performance of operating system as a whole, such as when the interference occurs. SCADA will be operated automatically to get the quality of analysis and reporting of problems that occur.

Scada hardware In general, the hardware architecture can be divided into two parts / layers of "Client Layer" containing the application HMI (Human Machine Interface) and "Data Service Layer" that control the most data and process control activities.

Factors in the generator? 1. Readiness factors (availability factor): the ratio between the number of hours of ready to total hours / year. Due to the maintenance, the readiness factor in a year never reach 100%.

The principle of working in the unit of scada If interference occurs on the engine and other tools in the center, SCADA will automatically send a message that disruption or damage to computers that are part of the SCADA network.
