Book of Psalms Divided into Five Books
Book of Psalms was written over a period of 1,200 years by several writers: Moses, the earliest – 1,400 B.C. – Psalm 90 David, the greatest – 1,050 B.C. – Psalm 1-41 exclusively, plus thirty assorted. Solomon – 950 B.C. – 2-3 psalms Asaph, Sons of Korah, Ethan, Heman and unknown authors – 900-400 B.C.
