Arctic Data Archive System Purpose of The Arctic Data Archive In order to collect and archive data for collaboration across the atmosphere, oceans, land, ecology, model, etc in Arctic research. Collected and archive in situ observation, collection data(data rescue), satellite data, numerical simulation data, etc. The mutual use of data between and modeler and observational researchers Cooperation with other countries Arctic data community Contribution of data management Their results mutually help to each other, model results for interpretation of observations and observations for constraining and validating model outputs. Data archiving efforts will further improve this close relationship between models and observations. Promotes international collaboration for Arctic studies.

And two themes are located between the natural science and society. Social and Human science theme work to form a information for society from scientific knowledge. Also possible impacts of Arctic environmental changes on society and socio-economy are tackled mainly by this themes. Natural scientific data, result and other outputs are supplied to social and human science theme. (Also, human science theme requests natural science themes for specific data and knowledge.) At the same time, scientific data and results are archived and disseminated by Data Management theme aiming to help the establishment of Interoperability of Arctic data. All of these knowledge and information are prepared to be accessible freely through web, mail lectures and conferences. http://www.arcs-pro.jp/
