Differentiated Instruction The process to approach teaching and learning for students of differing abilities in the same class. Assistive Tech Any item, piece of equipment, or product that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capability of a student with a disability. They are tools that are a must for a student to complete a task.

What different types of technology do we have access to everyday that can help LD students? Consider what capabilities exist in the technology and tools you are already using.
