GATE Exam: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India entrance Examination conducted jointly by joint venture of IISc and IITs, every year the exam is conducted in the month of February. The exam is conducted to admit the student for the post-graduation degree at the different IITs and IISc. The GATE score card is valid for three months.

IIT JAM is an entrance exam conducted by IITs every year to provide admission into various MSc (Full time), MSc-PhD dual degree, Integrated M.Sc.-PhD, MSc-MTech and other post-graduate programs. IITs started conducting the JAM in the academic session. The exam is conducted by the different IITs in the rotational manner. CEED Exam CEED is a national level entrance exam commonly abbreviated as Common Entrance Exam for Design. The exam is conducted by the Bombay IIT to admit the undergraduate student for the course in the design such as MDes (Master of Design) & PhD programs at various IITs.
