Wales is a part of the UK.

The national day is on 1 st March, in honor of St David, the patron saint of Wales.

On this day people wear the national costume with tall black hats and long dresses.

The national game is rugby. The Welsh like to watch matches in the Millennium stadium. It is the biggest stadium in Wales with 74,500 seats.

There are many waterfalls in Wales. Sometimes it is very difficult to reach them. The biggest one is situated in the deep forest between the hills. It has a height of 74 meters. It’s worth seeing.

Wales is a country of mountains. The highest is Showdown. It is situated in the Snowdonia National park

St Winifred’s Well is formed of natural spring and water in it is warm. They say that the water in the Well has healing powers.
