After the middle school, the students can choose the highschool, which are specialised in several fields, like classical literature or languages.

We attend this school, where the teaching is focused on Maths, Phisycs and Science. High school opens the door to many jobs and skills. It is important the study of Latin, that is taught only here and in grammar school.

Classical High School focuses on the teaching of Philosophy and Humanities. What characterized this school is the study of Greek and Latin, without omitting the study of the foreign languages.

Its curriculum provides the teaching of foreign languages. The main ones are English and French and a third language that can be chosen between German and Spanish. As in many other high schools it is also provided for the study of Latin, but only in the first two years. This school offers a strong cultural basis and gives the students the opportunity to go to university.

It is a school with a lot of branches. The teaching is mainly focused on the study of arts.

Nunziatella and Francesco Morosini If a boy attending high school wants to serve his country, he may apply for the Francesco Morosini Naval Military School in Venice or Nunziatella in Naples. These two schools, which provide a very strict education, give the children opportunity to follow the military career or to go to university.

The vocational education and training is a regional matter. They vary in length, up to 3 years, to which it can be added three qualifications years.

The State, together with the regions, establish the minimum quality standards that all training courses should meet. The courses are structured in incertifiable cycles.

It is addressed to the students of different secondary schools and show attitude for the active learning methods.

The solution of alternance training is already used successfully in Europe. It allows boys and girls to learn new working methods. There is the presence of a tutor, who ensures young people the acquisition of competence to use in the working market, in addition to the basic knowledge.
