Opening prayer God of wonder, we know that all things are possible for you. Encourage us to see that we too can change things for the better so that the world may become a fairer place for all to live. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.

God revealed his only Son to us. Lord have mercy. Lord, have mercy. He came to call sinners. Christ have mercy. Christ, have mercy. He calls us to forgive as you forgive us. Lord have mercy. Lord, have mercy.

Alleluia, Alleluia

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to John 2:1-11 Glory to you, Oh Lord The Gospel of the Lord Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ

Alleluia, Alleluia

I wonder what you heard in the Gospel today. Think about the jars of water Jesus performed a miracle the jars of water were changed into the very best wine Jesus did this because he loved his friends, he saved the best till the end We are the jars He has given us a gift of the very best We have been filled with the Love of Jesus This love is like the wine it is the very best Can you use your gift of being the very best to share God's Love today? Can you make someone smile? What we do for others could be considered a miracle for them?

Ritual response We invite you to come and collect a gift to remind us that we are filled with God’s Love and we can try to be the very best we can.

Love Jesus, Love Learning, Love Jesus, Love Learning, Love Life. Happy are we at St Joseph’s School, We all love Jesus our King Happy are we at St Joseph’s School, And that is why we all sing. Love Jesus, Love Learning, Love Jesus, Love Learning, Love Life. Happy are we at St Joseph’s School, We share and we take things in turn, Happy are we at St Joseph’s School, For we help each other to learn, Love Jesus, Love Learning, Love Jesus, Love Learning, Love Life. Happy are we at St Joseph’s School, Like Joseph loved Mary his wife, All of us here in St Joseph’s School, Love Jesus, Love Learning, Love Life. Love Jesus, Love Jesus, Love Learning, Love Jesus, Love Learning, Love Life.

As brothers and sisters in one loving family, together let us pray to our heavenly father. Lord hear our prayer. The response is sung, Lord hear our prayer. That the poor and hungry will know Christ’s love through our generosity and help. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. That we recognise the gifts given to us by the Spirit and use them to serve God and one another.. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. That Christians everywhere will be witnesses to Christ’s love in our world today Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Knowing that our Heavenly Father is listening, in the silence of our hearts, let us share our own unspoken prayers with Him.

Let us pray together Loving Father, may we be inspired by the miracles that your Son Jesus performed, to do our best to make a real difference to others around the world. Amen.

Nothing is impossible.
