Open your Student’s books on p.66 and look at the photos. What do you know about the people in the pictures? Read and answer the question in the quiz. Compare the answers with your classmate. Listen and check. Read the quiz again and find the examples of comparative/superlative forms of the adjectives ( C- funnier, better; S – the most beautiful, the longest, the most handsome, the most successful, the greatest, the most talented)

Compare: The dog is big. The cow is bigger than the dog. The elephant is the biggest of the three. The sparrow is beautiful. The parrot is more beautiful than the sparrow. The peacock is the most beautiful of all.

Formation Adjectives of one/two syllables form their comparative and superlative by adding -er/-est Two-syllable adjectives ending in –y turn the –y into –i and then add –er/-est Adjectives ending in a vowel+consonant double the consonant and then add –er/-est Adjectives of more than two syllables form their comparative and superlative by adding more/ most

Look at the table and make up sentences as in the example Lucy is tall. Claire is taller than Lucy. Helen is the tallest of all. LucyClaireHelen tall thin attractive rich funny++++++
