FACE | 20 FULL-TIME POSITIONS 1 (1) Assistant Superintendent for Family and Community Engagement Leads a team to engage parents in their child’s education and sustain school-family partnerships to promote student learning (6) Family and Community Engagement Specialists (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters Program) Coordinates initiatives that offer free instruction to parents, empowering them to prepare their young children for academic success (2) Communications Manager (FACE) Leads the HIPPY team to ensure the success of the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) Program (2) Lead Parent Tutors Leads teams of parent tutors who recruit, train, and support parents in the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) Program (1) General Clerk Provides specialized clerical support for the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) Program (1) Strategic Communication Specialist Coordinates internal and external communications for all FACE initiatives through multimedia and social media platforms, in multiple languages (1) Family and Community Engagement Specialist Team Lead Coordinates with four FACE specialists to plan and execute FACE initiatives and special projects (4) Family and Community Engagement Specialists Coordinates family and community engagement initiatives and special projects that support student learning and academic achievement (1) Business Operations Team Leader Provides technical leadership and support in data collection and data analysis and delivers periodic, midyear, and end-of-year reports on all FACE programs and initiatives (1) Senior Administrative Assistant Provides specialized clerical support for all FACE initiatives and special projects

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS | 19 FULL-TIME POSITIONS 2 PARTNERSHIPS (1) General Manager Oversees departments of Community Partnerships, Information Center, Special Events, Special Projects and Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS). (1) Community Relations Liaison Develops and implements special programs and projects that support the district’s goals and manages the district relationships with faith-based organizations. (3) Senior Administrative Assistant Provides administrative support for general manager and community relations and partnership liaisons. (2) Special Event Planner Coordinates district wide events. (1) Senior Manager, Community Partnerships Develops and implements strategies to expand resources to the school district by growing HISD partnerships and volunteer opportunities with corporations, non-profits, civic organizations, and other community organizations and individuals. (4) Partnership Liaison Recruits, engages, and nurtures external partnerships with schools in ways that increase resources to schools and supports instructional goals. (1) VIPS Program Administrator Recruits thousands of parents and community partners to donate their time, resources and knowledge in support of the district’s primary goal to increase student achievement. INFORMATION CENTER (1) Manager, Information Center Develops, implements, and manages a comprehensive information center and welcome desk and is responsible for global promotion of the school district. (1) Sr. Information Specialist Supervises the Information Specialist I staff and ensures the effective operation of the district’s Information Center. (2) Information Specialist Provides customer service support to the public and serves as initial point of contact for visitors. Researches and responds to public inquiries and resolves complaints. Coordinates School Messenger and Central Directory. (2) Receptionist Maintains a log of visitors. Responds to routine questions, receives and attends to all visitors. Receives telephone calls and redirects calls to the appropriate individual or department.

COMMUNICATIONS & PUBLICATIONS | 12 FULL-TIME POSITIONS 3 (1) General Manager Oversees Communications and Publications team operations and strategic communications for districtwide print and digital collateral, as well as high-level support for the superintendent and cabinet. (1) Strategic Communications Specialist Team lead for written content, both print and digital. Coordinates coverage and social media for events and major district initiatives. (1) Writer Produces print and digital written content for web, news blog and internal publications and communications. (1) Manager, Translation Services Manages team of five translators (Spanish, Arabic, and Vietnamese) and the translation of digital and print content, as well as providing translation/interpreter services for major events and community meetings. (3) Translators, Spanish Provides translation and interpreter services in Spanish. (1) Translator, Arabic Provides translation and interpreter services in Arabic. (1) Translator, Vietnamese Provides translation and interpreter services in Vietnamese. (1) Team Lead, Web & Mobile Oversees a team of two web designers and manages all multimedia content for the HISD website and school website initiatives and training. (2) Web Designers Designs and conceptualizes websites and digital products for special initiatives, keeps online content up to date, manages distribution of internal and external communications, and conducts training for school webmasters.

MULTIMEDIA SERVICES | 11 FULL-TIME POSITIONS 4 (1) General Manager Oversees Bond Communications and Multimedia operations and staff and strategic communications for bond program, video, and graphic design. (1) Bond Multimedia Manager Oversees Bond Communications team members and strategic communications for bond program. (1) Bond Strategic Communications Specialist Provides written updates and articles on bond projects and coordinates with Facilities Services team members on project communications. (1) Bond Senior Writer Provides written updates and articles on bond projects. (1) Senior Manager, Multimedia Serves as the district’s chief photographer and oversees video team and major associated projects. (3) Senior Producer/Directors Produces internal and external video content, including content for HISD TV. (1) Producer Handles A/V assistance for Hattie Mae White, as well as various video projects (1) Manager, Multimedia Brand and Design Manager Manages Web Content Administrator and oversees major district print and digital design projects. (1) Web Content Administrator Produces Bond program design projects, along with other district print and digital design projects.
