Gods Grace Isaiah 30: 18 – 22 2 Timothy 4: 1 – 5

Isaiah 30: 18 Yet the L ORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the L ORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him! This demonstrates that God loves us despite our sinful nature. God is full of Grace (Gods unmerited favor) He promises blessings when we wait for him

Isaiah 30: People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you. God encourages his people that suffering is over The condition is that we must cry for help (Trust in Him) He is ready to answer our prayers

Isaiah 30: Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. bread of adversity = bread in small quantity water of affliction = water in scant measure There are times when God provides only just enough e.g.manna

Isaiah 30: Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. bread of adversity = bread in small quantity water of affliction = water in scant measure There are times when God provides only just enough e.g.manna

Isaiah 30: Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” God will give you guidance through the holy spirit who is our teacher and counselor In V 22 – after Gods guidance, idol worship will be no more Idol – anything that takes Gods place

2 Timothy 4: 1 – 5 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

2 Timothy 4: 1 – 5 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.
