Kamishibai storytelling The kamishibai is a wooden stage in which the storyteller slides picture cards.

The kamishibai used to be a street- storytelling in Japan from around 1920 to Kamishibai

With the coming of TV it disappeared from the streets.

Kamishibai The kamishibai stands on a table behind which the teller stays and narrates the story (reading the text printed on the back of the cards) while the audience looks at the pictures.

Kamishibai The storyteller displays a picture with each story scene and slides them out to reveal the events of the next scene. Just when the story reaches an exciting part, the storyteller stops and promises to continue the tale the following day.

Kamishibai You will make a Comenius Kamishibai story in three cards. Your story will be about your cooperation in Comenius. You will create a small size version of kamishibai and illustrate in the technique of collage depending on your ideas and creativity. You will present your Comenius kamishibai in word and picture.

Kamishibai The first illustration will talk about your expectations of the project. The second illustration will talk about targets attained in the project - what you’ve gained and learned during the project. The third illustration will talk about your expectations in the similar project in future

Kamishibai You will have two hours to make Kamishibai. Your report should not be longer than 10 minutes. We expect a creative and innovative kamishibai from each country.
