Why study a language in Year 10? Because English is not enough!!

1.Not everyone speaks English 94% of the world’s population does not speak English as their first language 75% of the World’s population do not speak English at all British businesses lose millions of pounds every year because their employees can not speak a foreign language

2. It’s A way of understanding different countries and cultures Not just France, Germany, Spain… French is spoken in many parts of the world (Canada, the West Indies and parts of Africa) Spanish is spoken in Latin American countries German is spoken in parts of Switzerland and in Austria
