Engineering Design Process  Very similar to the steps of the Scientific Method

1. ASK  Identify and Research a Need

2. IMAGINE  Develop Possible Solutions

3. PLAN  Make a Prototype

What is a prototype?  A test model of the product  Allows engineers to see if their design works the way it should

4. CREATE  Test and Evaluate

5. IMPROVE  Modify and Retest the Solution
