HOW TO SAVE ENERGY ● Keep the electronic appliances disconnected when you don't need them. You can save 1/3 of the energy.

● With the pressure cooker you save a lot of energy In the kitchen ● Buy an efficient oven and cook, and use the microwave instead of the oven

Electrical Appliances ● Don't leave the door of the fridge open. ● Use the washing machine and the dish washer always full, and wash with cold water.

About ligths ● Use the natural light from the sun or low consume bulbs. ● Don't forget to swicht the light off

Water ● Save water and you'll save energy. Most of the water you use at home must be pumped with a bomb ● Put a thermostat in your shower, you can save 5% of energy

How to heat water ● The best way to heat water is with a solar system ( you can save about 60% of energy) ● Don't use an electric heater

About the waste ● To produce paper, metal or glass a lot of energy is consumed, so separate them at home and make recycling easier. ● Don't buy overwrapped products ● Carry your own bag ● Use rechargeable batteries

Transport ● If you can, try to go walking or by bycicle ● If you can´t, use public transport

Car ● Share your car ● Buy an efficient car. Keep it in good condition and drive it trying to save petrol ● Buy local products because it avoids transport.

PAPER ● Producing paper consumes a lot of energy. ● Use instead of paper. ● Print or write using both sides ● Buy recycled products and don't use disposable products products.

HEATER AND A.C. ● Keep your home comfortable but don't waste energy. ● During winter allow the sun to come in home and in summer use blinds and canopies
