ENDANGERED SPECIES NEED OUR HELP!!!

ENDANGERED ANIMALS!!!! Have you ever wondered…. How does a species become endangered? How many species are on the endangered species list? What can you do to help protect endangered species? Today, many of us are aware that certain animals, such as the giant panda and snow leopard are endangered species. What many people might not realize, is that the endangered species list contains thousands of species, and they're not all animals. Animals and plants are at a risk of becoming extinct because of threats from changing environments or predators.

WHAT IS AN ENDANGERED SPECIES? An endangered specie is where a plant or animal is vulnerable or at a risk of extinction. Animals/ plants become extinct because of different times of harming hunters or poachers can do. Animals and plants are only called endangered if there aren’t many of those animals left. Extinction is the complete disappearance of a species from the Earth. Dinosaurs are good examples of animals that are extinct and no longer roam the Earth. Animals are endangered for a certain reason. They are hunted for fur, bones and medicine.

BIG CATS ARE ENDANGERED Endangered Big Cats Amur leopard, Snow leopard, Tiger, Amur tiger, Bengal tiger are some of the endangered cats. Unfortunately, there are many more cats that are endangered. I don't really understand why hunters or poachers kill these animals. They've done nothing wrong but that’s what they don’t see.

RAISING MONEY Now we need to stop this right away. The WWF (world wildlife fund for nature) is a charity which supports the endangered animals. Now as some of you know, the endangered species club is holding a cake sale, selling bags and having non-uniform day. Our estimate of how much we will raise is about £115 pounds. Now everyone in this club has chosen a different animal to raise money for.
